About Scott & Jen
Both Scott and Jen Lathrop are ordained ministers of the Gospel.
Scott is a unique teacher, counselor and minister. He wears the mantle and walks in the office of a prophet. He also carries the anointing of an apostle. Scott uses his giftings to bring encouragement, healing, change and direction into the lives of individuals, families, churches and businesses.
Scott grew up with his family in Waterloo, Iowa. He accepted Jesus at the age of 10 years old. At the age of 14, his youth leader prophesied over him that he had a call of God on him. At the age of 19, he went in the U.S. Navy for 7 years. It was then that he started to see God’s hand on his life. Like Abraham, he would never live with his family in Iowa again.
In 1990, Scott met Jennifer Petree, God’s second-biggest gift to him (Jesus being the first). They got married in 1993.
Jennifer has a strong prophetic anointing on her. She also walks in a powerful love-of-God anointing. Jennifer works alongside Scott and uses her giftings to minister individually and as a team.
Jennifer grew up in Callahan, Florida. She accepted Jesus at the age of 9. She grew in the knowledge of God at Gray Gables Baptist Church. In 1992, Jennifer graduated from Jacksonville University (JU). During that time is when she met Scott.
In 1995, Scott and Jen moved to Clermont, Florida to help Pastor Rick Van Wagner start Family Christian Center. While there, they were trained, built up, and licensed to walk in their giftings. They were also blessed with 2 sons, Joseph & Jacob.
Today, Pastors Scott and Jen continue to share the love and Kingdom of God around the world as full-time ministers. They also serve as the pastors of their home church, Soul Bait Ministries in Jacksonville, FL.
